Yuri: Legend of the Gifted

After his mother's death, Yuri begins a journey to search for his uncle in the North. Along the way he discovers many extraordinary gifts that he has been blessed with, becoming the most powerful gifted human in many years.

He narrowly escapes with his life between clashes with sorcerers of the king and attacks from half-human, half-animal creatures. These adventures introduce him to a new best friend — a dog named Shelp who is far more than he appears.

Yuri never asked to be powerful. He just wants to be a healer, and to teach others to use the gifts he has discovered.

Yuri: The Legend Continues

The gifts keep coming — and so do the enemies. As Yuri grows into powers no human has held in a thousand years, the king's sorcerers stop treating him as a rumor and start treating him as a threat.

The road north widens into something larger than one boy's search for his uncle. A beautiful elf maiden joins the company, old creatures stir, and the shape of what is coming begins to show itself.

Yuri is still trying to be a healer. The world has other plans.

Yuri: Preparing for War

The evil one is no longer a shadow on the horizon. Yuri and his companions must gather every gift, every ally, and every hard-won lesson before the battle reaches them.

A weapon master joins the fight. Dragons enter the story. And the boy who only ever wanted to heal has to decide what he is willing to become to protect the people he loves.

The trilogy's final volume brings the journey that began on a farm to the field where it ends.
